Along with his wife Wendy, Phil is Co-Founder of the international development organisation, WeSeeHope (www.weseehope.org.uk / www.weseehopeusa.org). They started it in the year 2000 after a failed adoption attempt of a little HIV + toddler. The organization now works across parts of Southern and Eastern Africa, having equipped over 850,000 vulnerable young people, parents and guardians to build sustainable and thriving futures. Phil and Wendy’s work has been widely recognized with the British Prime Minister conferring on them the Points of Light Award in 2017, and both being honored with MBE Medals by the Queen Elizabeth II in her Platinum Jubilee New Years Honors list.

WeSeeHope is committed to creating sustainable change for vulnerable children through community-led education, child rights and economic empowerment programmes, and work in partnership with in-country organisations to deliver these in areas where they are most needed.
From his experiences setting up WeSeeHope Phil brings an entirely unique perspective and experience to any room, conference or board meeting.
